The NUSChoir

Choir of the World 2018

Formed In 1980, The NUSChoir, a member of the NUS Centre For the Arts, comprises over 70 students and alumni from various NUS faculties who share a common passion for singing and choral music.

The choir aims to promote choral music excellence within the campus and to external audiences by performing throughout the year, through varied performances.

In the meantime, we are inviting choristers to join our family! For more information, visit our Facebook and Instagram pages.

A world class choir

The NUSChoir strives to be a world-class choir, delivering the highest standards of choral singing.

The choir participates in international competitions regularly and has won numerous esteemed awards. Most recently, The NUSChoir made history at the prestigious Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod 2018 by clinching the โ€˜Choir of the Worldโ€™ title, along with the most coveted Pavarotti Trophy.

Every March, The NUSChoir stages its annual concert Varsity Voices, performing an extensive repertoire of choral music ranging from classical to contemporary and everything in between.

Apart from Varsity Voices, the choir also performs for the local community at various public engagements. During the festive season, the choir spreads ย Christmas joy through carolling at several locations, from hotels to country clubs and shopping centres.
